Who has SKY HD+?

they said this when it was first announced, that you would need either sky bb lite or sky bb unlimited

I've had it a while and the box is quite slow, my mates just had it installed and its a much faster box.

What box, did you just order a new one?

Tempted by the 1tb box but Sky wont give me one (at the discount rate they were offering) apparently the computer said no... lol

My mate has given me his Sky HD box.

I'm going to give it my dad. What does he have to do to use and record with it?

He will be swapping out his standard + box
 
Fit the box, swap the cards over, call Sky. They'll add the HD box onto his account and pair the card. Your Dad needs to consider if he wants the HD Sub. It's £10.25 a month now and IS a twelve month subscription, regardless of where he got the box from but he doesn't need to take the HD sub if he doesn't want to. He'll get BBC 1 HD, BBC HD, ITV HD, Ch. 4 HD and Ch. 5 HD as well as Luxe HD Free of charge.
 
I have ordered Sky HD, should be installed on Saturday.

Finally upgrading my old basic Sky box, getting Sky+ at last too.

I'll be ready for F1 in HD now :)
 
anyone know of any deals on sky hd boxes? we have one sky hd and 1 sky+ atm but want a 2nd hd box. it will need to be plumbed into a new room aswell. site says £200 for the box alone!
 
Unfortunately you can only get your first box reduced. you could possibly try going down the 'I want to cancel, Virgin have offered me 2x V+ boxes for free with free install' option, or buy a box yourself from fleabay.
 
quick question hopefully one of you can answer!

Current situation is;
Sky+HD downstairs with HD subscription
Sky box upstairs in bedroom(multiroom)

I now have another Sky+HD box
If I get a second lead into the bedroom, and attach the Sky+HD box do I have to pay another £10 a month HD sub on top of the one I'm already paying to view channels like Sky1 HD?
