Can you re sell Windows 7?

I have the full retail version of W7 home premium, just wondering if you can sell it some how? Would i not be able too since i have used the key?

Retail I'm sure you could, but I am sure it is against the Eula. Or do you mean on the MM here? There's some rules on software in the FAQ

Would you uninstall Win7 from your PC before selling it? If not, I'm pretty sure that all you're doing is scamming the other person.

Yeh i would uninstall it ofc. But that's kinda my question, if i just format my HD, will that deactivate windows?

It won't deactivate it, but when the other person installs it they can probably just tell MS that they're transferring the license to new hardware, so the old activation can be cancelled.

There is a command to deactivate your copy of Windows 7 (and versions of Office too, for that matter). In that instance, selling it would be legal, but there is so much trust required from the buyer that it wouldn't likely sell.

They sell all the time on MM, is perfectly legal
