Hey OcUK,

Recently purchased 3 webcams for a PC system viewing birds and uploading a image to the site (Using tincam)

I have a driverless trust one, Logitech one and a Saitek one.

When I load up the driverless one and the Logitech one on Tincam the PC is fine (Although the driverless one displays nothing), I then plugged in the Saitek one, went to add it on the setup, clicked ok, got a black screen for like 5 seconds, then the computer has proceeded to reboot.

It is a problem with my Saitek camera, even when I view just that one the PC restarts.

If your wanting OCUK support, you need to post in the customer support forum, or send them a webnote/phone call.

If your wanting help from the community then we will need to know your computer specs, are they all connecting via USB, are those ports on the back of your PC, have you tried the saitek one in a different port?

I'm wanting community help.

The specs are -

1.7GHz Intel Celeron
1GB RAM
3GB Page file

They are all connecting by a powered external hub

And I have not tried it in a different port (As I could not even get to the back of the PC)

Uninstall and reinstall the Saitek drivers?

Try get to the back of the PC and connect the Saitek webcam to it's own USB?

until its been tested in the a direct ort (one on the back) we cant rule out things like the hub etc causing problems. Chances are its not, but its worth checking. Driver re-install is a good shout. Also make sure its not set to auto reboot on a crash, that might give you a BSOD which will help with diagnosing the issue.

I've tried a direct plugin on another machine, worked fine.

And okay, I'll try a re-install.

So it works fine on another machine, id say the hub and it arent compatable then. After checking it works in the back, maybe even front ports, just get a USB extension cable so it can still be further away from teh pc.

Well, it's currently into hub then USB repeater, I'll try just the repeater and hope it works okay, and reaches for that matter.
