Just got a Focus Mk1 Y Reg 2nd hand. Cars perfect but the key with the remote locking on it is rather dodgy.
The lock and unlock are very stiff and the boot release doesn't work at all.
Question is, what can I do about getting a new remote key?
Iv read you can buy uncut ones off a 'popular auction site' and program it yourself?
Is this true?
I would prefer that option as opposed to getting the ford dealership to do it as apparently it costs £70 there!
Anyhow, thoughts/suggestions

Dont know if this makes any difference but I have 1 remote key and 1 normal non remote key.
