Hi all,

I've looked around a bit to try and find a 10" Android tablet to buy to have a play with at work, and can't find any recommendations on which is best, have any of you ever used one, and if so what are your thoughts please?

Wait a few months.

This. We are about to witness the tablet explosion. There have been a large number of product announcements before and just now at CES, some of them look very promising. Most of these should be running Honeycomb. So I would wait until the beginning of quarter two before buying one although if you are desperate you may want to look and see if the ASUS Eee Pads are available soon.

I got an Advent Vega just before christmas, and so far it is brilliant. It does need some messing about with to be good tho, Pay MoDaCo a visit and download their custom pack (I also payed £10 for the performance pack) and it makes the device about 100x better, giving you access to the market and flash.

This is the only one I would recommend really, not from experience but from hours and hours of google searching prior to purchase! It's a very powerful device, I've been playing dungeon defenders recently which is a properly swish 3d game and it hasn't even hinted at slowing down, for the money is definitely a brilliant bargain.

Saying all this, it's out of stock lol.

The motorola Xoom looks like one of the better options coming up. I'd definitely wait for 3.0 to hit the market considering it's designed for tablets.
