I have done this at Uni, it hurt and that was about it. I was drunk before and drunk after but can't say for sure that it contributed.

Never done "eyball" vodka but have tried suicide tequila. Hurts like hell mainly the lemon/lime juice. The tequila gave me very dry itcy eyes for about 24 hours.

Using a strawer to "snort" a shot of sambucca is also not one of my finest moments.
