The *Official* Eve Online Thread

Has the tutorial been redone again? I only started playing again a couple of weeks ago and did all the tutorial missions for some easy money, might do it again if it's been redone with today's patch.
 
Downloading at 2Mbps, should be up and running in 10 min.

Thought it would be a lifetime downloading from reading official forums.

Heya guys - popped into the ocuk channel late last night but there weren't many people around. Looking for a corp primarily because solo lvl 4 mission running is getting extremely boring. Played a few trials/short subs then got back into Eve about a year ago. Was playing with a couple of mates but they decided it wasn't for them.

About 25m sp, mostly support, shield and missiles with some armour and small projectile turrets in there. Looking to get my feet wet in pvp and maybe get involved with incursions when they start - current lowsec experience has been short and unsuccessful :p Based in Caldari space (like every other mission runner in the universe it seems).

I'll pop into channel again when I get some time - usually play for a couple of hours or so a night depending on wife/kids/work. Oh, character name is Turiya Raver.

Worked out ok for my main and over all an improvement on the original, for some of my alts like a female Amarr I miss the more interesting accessories.

BTW to those who're interested The PCGamer and Rock Paper Shotgun guys ( RPS Holdings ) are down in Curse if anyone wants to fly with / against them. The Eurogamer lot are in Syndicate with Huzzah, though planning on road tripping with RPS.

If you head that way also look out for me as I'm in NC(dot) and we do like to look for fights as it's not far from Provi.

Hey louis,

Yeah there probably weren't many people around yesterday because everyone was messing with the character creation, i know i was lol. If you would like to come back on tonight, that will be cool.

There are a few things happening in the alliance now, and hopefully we can get incursions rolling. I would actually like to set a date TBA for an incursion activity with the alliance and anyone in the ocuk forum really, you're all welcome to join.

If you enjoyed flying minmatar you'll have a very nice surprise for you in the shape of the projectile buff. Autocannon falloff and Artie alpha both became insane, making both the Hurricane and Vagabond even more awesome.

Personal opinion on cap boosters is once you get good enough skills the yes, but at lower levels then no. The better skills make those cap boosters go far enough to last you through the mission. If I have to mission for isk the I <3 the Nightmare.

I made an avatar last night for one of my chars, he looks nothing as good as the ones posted

All I can say is he looks like some kind of stalker or psychopath.....which is prolly in character and as it should be...
