MSI NGTX 460 1GB Cyclone

Yes, it will play the vast majority (bar metro 2033/Crysis) at max settings at 1900X1080 res, and a good overclock will boost it to 470/6870 performance (If you want to that is)

Don't mean to jack but what's the maximum safe overclock on this card?

built my mate a PC a week or so ago and wouldn't mind knowing, he's bought Crysis so I want to try and get a little more oomph out of it, heard they overclock well.

I would like to know this aswell

You can pretty much play any game max with this card, it's pretty decent.

Each card is different, and I think it also depends on the system it is in. I have read somewhere where they got the core clock up to 900Mhz on this card I believe, but I probably wouldnt recommend running it constantly like that, I think that was a one time deal jsut to see how far they could push it. I think you should be able to get to 800Mhz on the core clock alright, however for a 24/7 OC though, might want to think about something a bit lower though.

Although I have the Gigabyte version, it's a great card, especially at the price. it runs all my current games at 1680x1050 without breaking a sweat and I'm sure it will continue to do so for quite a while, at least until I replace the monitor which will probably be next year at some point.

As for the overclock, I have mine running at 800MHz Core, 1600Mhz Shader and memory running at 2000Mhz, all on the stock voltage and it hasn't even uttered any squeak of complain whatsoever. Sure I could push it faster but I'm happy with it on stock volts.

I've been running my Cyclone at 850/1700/4200 @ 1.087V since the day I got it, absolutely rock solid even with a reduced fan profile to keep the card silent.

Brilliant card.
