Dodgey ebay iphone service?

as all others simply give you there phone then wait for you to give them good feedback and then claim on insurance leaving you right back at step one.

hmmm

what? am i misssing something here? why is that dodgy? and why have you made some wild assumption that he somehow replaces the phones? you just made that up! lmao.

peoples phones break...he fixes them. i think his perfect 100% rating on ebay kinda proves that its not dodgy at all.

If he's doing what I think he's doing then he could end up in jail...

Messing with the serials/ IMEI numbers, and then passing them back to Apple for a replacement would be my assumption?

If so, I'd suspect the buyers to be in for a nasty shock when the cops catch up with him, obtaining property by deception, or handling stolen goods spring to mind? (Someone with a little more legal knowledge will correct me)

Either way, so dodgy it's unreal.

Just contacted him

Dear hazlad24,

hi its £35 for repair. or £50 for a replacement. i think i will only be
able to offer a replacement service for that one, as long as theres
no physical damage. please give my the serial and
imei.thanks,david

Can you explain on that please?

By the looks of it he's offering to unblock blocked phones by changing the IEMI number. Doing this can now land you in jail... as block phones are normally blocked because they have been stolen.

Yep, he's got his full name and mobile number on the listing, so he's not exactly under the radar...
