Piercings on guys

Right people of ocuk, I am thinking about getting the following 2 piercings and want your honest opinions please.

1) navel piercing, always liked it and think it's different on a guy, so would like it, opinions?

2) eyebrow, always thought it looked good and it popular ish aswel, although I'm thinking it might make me come across as a chav? Opinions please.

Navel piercing are for belly dancers, are you a belly dancer?

Eyebrow piercings can look okay on the right person, but are likely to "walk" leaving you with a silly looking scar and carry a higher than usual chance of damaging nerves, slightly reducing your range of facial movements.

I only know 2 dudes with their belly buttons pierced, neither are gay. But they are the hench 6 pac top off as much as possible types. Gay and in denial.

Eyebrow grows out, mine always kept getting bashed about and infected. I wouldn't recommend it as a great piercing to have.

wouldnt get an eyebrow as people have said, it can leave a scar, plus imo they look chav.

1) do you wear 'hipsters' jeans? You might get away with a navel piercing, but if you wear blokey jeans/trousers you'll soon be fed up with it catching on your belt/buttons/buckle etc. Nothing worse than accidentally catching it as you'll be constantly getting it infected - it's just bound to happen.

2) Facial piercings are like obvious tattoos - everyone can see them and will make an opinion based on your appearance. If you're fine with that... ok, but if you ever want a better paying job, you might find some employers will pass you over for someone more 'conventional'.
It shouldn't be about what you look like, but about who you are and what you can do... but there you go.

My advice: avoid anything below the belt, or on your face - that really only leaves your nipples (as we have already discounted the navel) - go on, it doesn't hurt one little bit

Do you mean like nostril or the bit in the middle like a bull? If it's the bull look, get it.

I have two piercings but both are hidden... I have my tongue and PA done. I did have lip, nipple, flesh tunnel about 10 years ago but have taken them out now and just have the two left.
