OMG I just bought a Ford......

Just finalised the deal on a new C-maxx Grand 7 seater. Being a vauxhall nut i'm a little scared turning to the dark side. But i'm genuinely immpressed with the car and its seating capabilties its considerably nicer than the Zaifira.. Went for a nice grey colour with sat nav and reverese cam, climate and upgraded stereo with Dab, bluetooth and ipod connecting thingy. 140ps Diesel engine so no performance car its quite a bit slower than my vectra but suits me perfect.

Should be picking it up end of Jan if all is ok as they had to order it in...

If it makes you feel any better c-max diesels are probably the most problematic and unreliable cars we have come in.

On second thoughts that probably doesn't make you feel any better.

Luckily it will be under warranty and i'm keeping my vectra for everyday use...

Are ford not planning on keeping the S Max given the release of the 7 seat C Max?

I quite like the look of the C-Max Grand, as a family car.

May have to consider one as a replacement for my focus in a year or so.

I just found it quite surprising that the keys aren't next to each other yet you got the wrong ones.

No suprise to me either a genuine lesson learned I have always used the , as in i,m.. Really should have done better/Actually attended school....

Off the top of my head I can think of about 100 cars I would prefer at that budget, but it's your money, so enjoy.

I saved £2300 over retail whatever that is in %...

I'm happy with it tbh cant be arsed in shopping around to save a grand and technically the RAF are paying so sod it......

Needs to be able to seat 4 kids and 2 adults... I looked at a few other makes and they were all a bit meh...I like the C-max because its not huge and looks a bit more car like..

Yep, I guess that is a tough call. For me it's two kids, two dogs, 2 adults, so a whole load more options.
