I had my eye brow done in 1998, its still there now and never moved a Micron. I look stupid now without it. Daft as that seems.

I know exactly what you mean. I have had my tongue done since I was 16 (30 on Friday ) and I cant take it out now, feels completely unnatural and I even talk funny

I have had my eyebrow pierced now for about 10 years. Never had a problem with it. Wear it in at work without any issues, and I am getting married to my girlfriend in a few months, so I don't think it has affected my sexual orientation. I also don't own any tracksuits or like dance music, so I'm pretty sure I don't fall into the chav category.

Eyebrow piercing were the in thing over a decade ago, most people I know who had it done ended up having the piercing grow out within the first year leaving a scar. So, do so at your own risk.

As for a navel piercing, it's upto you, as long as you're comfortable with the fact that you will get ribbed for it.

I was big into piercings as I'm a "punk". Eyebrows, nose, lip, labret, ears, nipples and ******* as well as a load of surface piercings. I got nearly all of them out except for the ones that can be hidden for work purposes. Also, it's a nightmare to get in a pit and get punched in the face and have a piercing ripped out. And stretches weren't in vogue when I was younger except for the most hardcore of body modders. Now it seems to be hipster as **** to get a stretch.

Looks even worse if you stretch it. Also, anything bigger than 6mm and it probably won't shrink so you're stuck with it for life, as if you won't be saggy enough when you get older as it is.
