H70 vs H50 vs Coolit Eco ALC ???

Which of the three would you go for and can anyone source a review chart showing all 3 coolers being tested at once?

Any reasons you want them specifically?

I've only tested the H50 and ECO: http://www.vortez.co.uk/articles_pages/corsair_h50_cpu_cooler_review,10.html

But they are no match for good air coolers.

And why spend so much on a H70 only to spend another £25 on fans... That makes the whole package over £100! An air cooler is half the price and does a better job without the noise and risks.
 
Which air cooler would you reccomend Helios ?

Reason i fancied the water alternative was for size, i have an xigmatec already on my CPU and i find it huge and inefficient, something like a Noktua just looks overkill in size, i have an Antec 900 and with the Xigmatec i have its already close to touching the side of my case where the window locks into place.

Which Xigmatek do you have exactly? I can check the height to make sure other coolers will fit. If you're not comfortable with the size of the Noctua, then I'd highly recommend the Thermalright Venomous X. It is 160mm tall so you would have to be weary of that.
 
Ok i will have a look into it, you personally used it and got a comparison against it to the watercooling i fancied?

^ iirc it's better than the H50 by a little bit, not as good as a full water cooling setup though (for me made ~20C difference from a VX to a self built WC system)
 
yeah i can't afford a custom water though :(

just been looking at reviews of the one your reccomended Hellios and this cooler kept cropping up as being a better option by a couple of degres:

zalman CNPS10x Extreme

had any experience with it ?

Had a Domino ALC that leaked and got replaced with a ECO ALC, its ok but to be honest next time i'll prob just spen the money on a high end air.
