Best place to meet girls?

Well go up and start talking to them, see how approachable they are.

Putting yourself out there as FF mentions can be a bit of an effort if you aren't naturally chatty. I tend to do that for the first few weeks of being somewhere new, meet new people, but then end up becoming "introvert" again and only socialising with those I met when I was making an effort. Probably the same with most people though.
 
On the internet all the way. I met my ex on the net, didn't have a pic or anything so it was a big supprise when I saw her for the first time...


My god she was ugly...

yeah thats the problem I don't talk to much to people, not overally approachable and come across a miserable git.

Probably because i am :p

If its already been asked and answered sorry, but what do you enjoy? Maybe look at taking something up as a hobby related to it.

Even if its just walking you find a lot of groups meet up for it, you get running groups as well. All sorts out there really.

Easier to give advice than do it btw :D

Furthermore, when I used to travel for work, it's amazing how interesting it is to talk to the person next to you on the plane, or at your place of work - you get invited to all sorts of places.

You just have to put yourself out there, be open and friendly, but you do have to put the effort to be out and about - moping about at home or in the same way one always does won't get you noticed. If you want to meet people you have to make your own luck.

The closest I got to the girls playground was looking across the fence from our playground. We used to meet girls in the local youth club before we let rip at university. Those were the days. :D
