Im looking to find out whether or not it is now possible to run 2 or more Nvidia Graphics cards on a Motherboard which has an onboard ATI video chip.
To clarify this what im using the system for is folding at home and nvidia cards give the better results, however if i was to pair my cards up with a mobo with onboard video would i be able to use the onboard video to monitor the system.
while having my nvidia cards doing all there normal folding work.
So thinking about it really the question i should be asking is it possible to run ati and nvidia gpu's in the same system without any conflicts or system instability.

You should be able to disable the onboard video chipset in the BIOS, if not you can do it in Windows but that could potentially cause problems.

you didnt read my OP carefully.
Im looking to use the onboard video to run the monitor whilst being able to use my Nvidia Video cards for Folding at home.
Hence the second question of is it possible to run ATi and Nvida video cards in the same system without any conflicts.

True, I didnt, apologies. I dont know the answer but would be interested to know if you complete it succesfully. I know the AMD Chipset drivers include a graphics driver if thats any use

Getting an Nvidia (GTX460) card to run on an AMD motherboard without onboard graphics was a problem for me (and a fair few others, apparently).
