Not played this for a few days and suddenly it all feels different. Good different. Eg, guns on chopper are more zoomed out, if that makes any sense. I suppose someone/they have changed the FOV - but I don't remember updating anything...

I found I had to make a couple of extra changes to the infantry.dbx after the last big patch.
Under <field name="ConceptIdentifier">ConceptPitch</field> and <field name="ConceptIdentifier">ConceptYaw</field> lines the 'ScaleValue' had changes from 1 to some crazy number. I had to try keep trying numbers but I eventually found using 0.010 got things to feel right again.
 
Can someone help me with regards to punkbuster? I forgot to install it when installing the game so i have visited this link i was given

Downloaded the windows version and ran the setup, added BFBC2 to it and updated. I also went to the punkbuster folder on the game cd and ran the only file in the folder it ran loads of checks and came up at the end with no errors at all. Whenever i try and join a game tho its telling me punkbuster needs to be running or to install it, have i missed something?

Looking for a new game to play, and was thinking of getting this, can get this and vietnam for £30, is it worth it and is there still a lot of people playing?
 
You aren't missing out on much if you don't get Vietnam in all honesty. Unless you can get it cheap I wouldn't be too fussed about it yet.

It's easily one of my favourite games of 2010... :cool:

Sure if you don't find the vietnam setting at all interesting then don't get it but if you loved the likes of the previous BF:V and games like Vietcong then BUY BUY BUY! :D

Havent actually bought it yet so not sure what time ill have it downloaded, should be able to play some over the weekend though if you want :)

And Blackhawk47, I'll probably get Vietnam if i get into BC2, just rather wait and see if im gonna enjoy it enough :P
 
any1 having this problem, everytime i load up bfbc2 and enter a game, almost everytime i get disconnected from the first game i join, sometimes pretty quickly sometimes a couple of full map rotations. once i rejoin i have no problems at all

also, i'm randomly getting slowdown tho not very often i must admit, is punkbuster up to its old tricks again?
