Is it me and my car, or are Glasgow roads being repaird by dodgy romanian chaps?

I mean come on, the potholes in near where i live, Govan, your car can literally fall in it!!! i will upload pics soon.

What exactly is wrong with Govan? It's a good place.

Hamilton roads are terrible too. I think it's partly due to the bad weather.

I have seen some absolute shockers in Glasgow. Your whole car wouldn't fall in but one wheel in could get your car stuck and damaged.

You spelled it right, I was pointing out that the whole point of using the word "literally" is to explain in no uncertain terms that what you're saying is not exaggerated :p

Lmao, i have a Suzuki Alto, i think you can get the picture. :D

London road is a mess, has been since before I moved out of Glasgow. No doubt they'll fix it just before the Commonwealth Games arrives in 2014. Shame Glasgow has such a huge unemployment, crime and drink problem, it'd be a nice city otherwise and has great potential.

I'd be more concerned with the overall roads system in Glasgow than I would with individual pot holes. Every time I've ever been there it's seemed a matter of luck rather than judgement whether you end up in the right place - you see a sign to where you want to go and you're about 3 miles away, thinking 'great, it'll be signposted clearly if they're notifying you this far out about the place' and then randomly it'll just disappear leaving you wondering if you've missed the turnoff until you find a sign telling you that where you wanted is now 6 miles in the other direction - there never was a sodding sign, I've got a theory that the lack of directions right where you need them is in fact a policy to try and get people lost enough that they just consider staying in Glasgow.

Yeah, they are pretty bad. Some pretty big ones on Cathedral Street and around the hospital.
I hear what you're saying semi-pro, it can be a bit confusing but it does make sense when you live here. The road systems here are mental, and the awful drivers don't help!
