Nothing about the Medic class is awesome. Everything about it is plain unbalanced. They get guns with stupid amounts of ammo to promote camping and absolutely ridiculous accuracy when fired in bursts or single shots. As they can heal which promotes camping even more because they can just sit on a medkit. Up close you can be killed by even the ****tiest medic just because he can hold down fire for 5x longer than you can if things go wrong. Defibs are unbalanced thanks to the ****ing stupid invincibility you get which has got me killed several times because they survived a shotgun slug as the invincibility lasts just a bit after they get up. Most of the retards who play medic don't throw down medkits except for themselves and defib you regardless, multiple times in a row, because they get points for doing it, even if you have no ammo or get shot immediately.
Very few people play it properly. Even less so than the Recon class.
You're basically rambo with a medpack and revive ability, incredibly fun class to play. Not neccesarily overpowered as engineers with their smg's are excellent in close quarters and the recon class is a pita for any medics who take up medium range sniping with their M60s or PKM's.

Play Vietnam.
I always thought, as I've said before, that engineers should've had the Heavy guns instead.
. I just found myself joining any server killed 9 died 18 times lol could have been worse.Lol Evilsod. Wooosaaah....
Rifleman and I played SQDM (with Tefal jumping in for about 10 minutes) against two entire squads of Medics and I kid you not...it was spam fest 2011. All you could hear from all the way across the map was trigger happy medics holding the fire button and PKM/M60/MG36 constant fire.
Mind you, finding them was really easy and a real laugh. All we had to do was drop one or two of them, hang around a few seconds until the remaining medics did their revive and then take pleasure in killing them all over again. I think rifleman was dropping c4 on their downed comrads and waiting for the inevitable assistance to come bounding over the hill to their instant and loud demise.
Not once did they win a round and we took great delight in telling them so!
If they had half a brain cell they would take their finger off the trigger and actually look where they are aiming, instead they held the button down until the either ran out of ammo or died in one of the above mentioned actions.
So while they can be annoying, this was quite fun.
