So i had pretty much been deadset on getting the MSI P67 board because of all the problems i had heard about the ASUS Boards.

So now i have read that the ASUS BIOS problems have been fixed with new drivers. So I was curious what is the main difference between the ASUS P67 boards i was looking at the ASUS P8P67 EVO but im curious as to what the difference between it and the deluxe and pro is.

look at onboard sound options

number of USB ports E-SAtA ports

the amount of extra sata cables and crap you get with it.

it will be a combination of all those.

Do note that the P8P67 boards are a little tight in terms of component spacing when using an aftermarket cooler (e.g. both the PCI-e x1 slots on my Pro are blocked with a frio and wide graphics card, and I can't fit a fourth heatsinked RAM DIMM because of same cooler). The sabertooth looks better for this at first glance, but obviously there is a premium associated with that.

If you go with Asus you really, really should update the bios / clear CMOS, and you may want to hold off on any heavy overclocking for a week or two more whilst they continue to work out the kinks.

That said, Bit-Tech were really rather positive about the P8P67 series, especially in terms of price/performance against gigabyte and msi boards.
