Is there much difference between the 2? I'm getting a company car and I have the choice between a 2007 320d msport and 2009 320d SE. I know nothing about these 2, all I know is I have to take a 2nd hand car until the lease runs out and then choose a new car of my choice so the 07 obviously runs out a lot sooner.
Was just wondering what are the main differences if any and what most people would go for?
Thanks

sport looks better but the ride is softer in the SE.
If you do lots of miles then the SE might be preferable, though both could have good or bad other options that you might want to consider

The M Sport has a bodykit, M Sport suspension, black headlining, M Sport wheels, M Sport steering wheel, M branded door strips etc.

The M Sport is the better car but I'd take a 2009 SE over a 2007 M Sport for sure - the 2009 will be a facelift car whereas the 2007 will be the frankly crap looking prefacelift car that is dating horribly already.

How long are the leases, would have thought the 07 cars lease would have run out last year.

Last 2 companies I have worked for the company car leases were for 5 years.

The 07 is a 57 sorry and it runs out in November. Since then the leases on all new cars have been increased from 4 to 5 years so the 09 doesn't run out until March 2014.

have the 07 for less than a year and then a new car - surely

Only thing is come November not sure I'll be able to get as higher spec'd car as basically when you're first entitled to a company car you can take anything out of the pool (these are the only 2) but when you have to order something new it's based on job grade.

ah, in that case may be the more recent one:p

Find out what you'll be able to take out. If it isn't as good as a 3 series then get the SE, otherwise get the M sport then choose again between M sport and SE in November.
