As per title, what is the cheapest phone that is able to receive Emails from a "ymail" account just like you would get a text, presumming this is possible?

Preferably unloackable or T-mobile, can be contract, but maximum of £25 P/M and a decent Internet allowance, atleast 300 texts and 120 mins.

Thanks.

motorola defy available for £15/20 a month on tmobile with internet allowance.

I've got an "internet" phone now, but the email client is rubbish and the internet is slow.

I can see the Desire for £25/M and £200 for the handset with 5000 texts and 250 mins, 1GB internet, what you think?

I don't think you should be paying £200 for the handset. You can get it free for £25 a month with something like 500mb internet, 300mins and unlimited texts.

That's what I'm getting on Orange at the moment.

Both are android handsets, so the emails will be pretty similar on both

Maybe you should change from T-Mobile if your network speeds are slow?

(as above, the Defy is a brilliant Android phone and s.better than the Desire too)

As other people are suggesting the Android route (so I'm assuming you can get push via Yahoo Mail) then I'd suggest a San Francisco on PAYG with a Tesco/GiffGaff SIM only deal.

Can yahoo mail do push email or is just a POP account that needs to be check every x minutes?]

If you meant gmail then any android phone will do push email through the gmail app, but your best bet will be an orange san fran or if you dont mind paying a bit more for a monthly contract then the HTC desire is definatly the one to go for.

t-mobile via mobile phones direct. hell if you dont mind a 24 month contract they do the desire hd free on £25 :D

There's an official Android yahoo! mail app which says it supports Push notifications. Also says samsung galaxys arnt supported yet incase this impacts any potential decision.

That's cool.

I Phoned them up (T-mob) and got the Desire HD for £25/M 24 month contract, 600 texts, unlimited net and 300 mins.

Can't wait! :D
