Which shoes?

Quite like the look of these as I am looking for a pair of brown shoes.

I do like Vans generally, but I would go for the second pair; they have a cleaner look IMO

They are not really what I would class as shoes. Are they for skating? I much prefer these. Perfect for skating and imo better looking and less boat like.

Well I have a pair of these and find them extremely comfortable. I used to skate a bit and started wearing those sort of shoes ever since even though I don't skate any more.

The only thing I dislike about the Etnies is the inner burberry (?) part but I don't think I would notice that anyway.

But they're totally different, what if he hates high tops? I do!

Regarding the OP, I like the top ones. The Etnies are too plain for me, not just colour wise but detail wise imo.

I do find Etnies last longer than Vans normally though.

All of them are absolutely awful, but if being forced to choose at knifepoint I'd have to say the second pair.
