Hi everyone,
After finishing my 12hr shift as a security guard (dull I know) I get a call from the general foreman of the site. He calls me and tells me that as he was leaving, he saw a white van and two guys attempting to steal quite a lot of old machine parts ect as they were most probably going to take it down the scrap yard. Luckily they just left most of the stuff there when confronted and thankfully did not turn on the foreman. Instead they just drove off rather quick without any lights on.
So I called the police and they turned up rather quickly. I was itching to go though, as I was just about to go out for a couple of pints down the local. So after speaking with the police, we then had to sit in the car with them until a CSI turned up. 3 hours later I finally get to to go. I get home and change ect and then head off down the local.
So it turns out it is a karaoke night and it's quite packed in there too. So after a few strongbows I feel quite brave and ask to do a few songs. The final song I remeber doing was 'I did it my way' by Sid Vicious.
Only thing was that I apparently sang it in the nude. I don't remember how I got naked though which is strange. Anyway, it raised a few laughs and also upset a couple of people but I just can't really remember it that well.
So as soon as I get home I end up crashing out in bed. I wake up at 7am ish only to discover I have done what spud did in 'Trainspotting'
I also can't find my phone which is on contract, so I have to cancel that now. It was fully charged and when I tried phoning my number from the landline, It's been turned off. So some git has got hold of it
Also It was not insured so I don't know if house insurance covers it in any way does it? I know nothing about this stuff.
So all in all, I wish I had not of bothered. Don't think I will be heading back to the local anytime soon either.
For those that are wondering why I went out when called by the foreman, it was because he did not call the police. I did so my self. I think he panicked a bit and did not know what to do. He was lucky he did not get confronted by the two guys though.

You seen all that thread right? You know the one where people admitted crapping themselves? I think it was most embarrassing thing you ever did or something like that.
