Metal Gear Solid HD trilogy coming to PS3?

resident evil 2 was amazing. i remember going to pick my copy up with my dad (couldn't buy it myself as i wasnt 15 at the time)

amazing memories.

I think RE3 slightly topped it for me though. i loved the whole nemesis thing, and how it tied up with RE2 with the setting just hours before.

On a topical note. Would it be too much to ask for us to see MGS 1, 2 and 3 come to us on the MGS4 engine?? I mean MGS1 was done in part on the MGS 4 engine already.

We've seen twin snakes on the MGS 2 engine. So we know they like to do that sort of thing.

no one crossing fingers in hope this MGS HD trilogy is completely revamped under the newer engine? rather than just a HD upscale

to be honest, either would be great. or give the user the option to use whichever they wanted upon start up of the game. thats a lot of work maybe though..

edit: normal mode i.e the original or the hd remake.
 
Still got my Resi Evil 2 controller I bought back when it was released on PS1.

I always had Nintendo consoles, all my friends had Playstations.

I always had Mario and Zelda to be thankful for but I missed out on MGS, Tomb Raider :S.

Just get MSG3 in 3D when it comes out on the 3DS. I can't wait for it, it's gonna be absolutely immense judging by the gameplay videos.
 
You know, never actually played the first three- got a PS3 and got MGS4 and watched the really long opening cut scene and was well and truly hooked and played the whole game...

HD MGS1 would be nice as i'd play that to see the back story.

Ok I'll get out now, seeing as i've not play the first three.. lol
 
If this rumour turns out to be true, I may end up doing a small sex wee, as I would dearly love to have the first 3 MGS games remade for PS3, especially as I never finished MGS3 due to a save game corruption.
