I got a Fractal Design R3 White not that long ago, I got it from ocuk and they haven't stocked black in a while so i got it in white but now i kinda wish I didn't lol.

Would it be hard/expensive to get this black ?

Edit: I'd probably would only do the outside since the inside could remain white and wouldn't look bad i dont think. It just is bugging me that everything in my desk is black except the case. I think i have ocd sometimes

Spraying a case is difficult if you don't know what you're doing and the resuts will be less than desirable. Anodising or powder coating is best for people who want a colour change but the prices are such that for an R3 you may as well sell the case and get the colour you wanted in the first place.

If you want your case painted it might be an idea to strip it all down yourself, and get a car bodywork company to paint it. I doubt it would cost too much, and I would assume the finish will be nicer than using spray cans. :)

Lol, i was trying to avoid having to strip it (yes im really lazy) and just getting the outside done.

I think im just gonna buy a white and black/dark brown desk ,maybe it wont bug me too much :D

white cases are popular with the mac crowd.

if youre not running a apple os, then its quite a strange choice of colour if you ask me.

See my sig for the posibilities allowed by white cases - they can look half decent with a bit of effort and thought and are becomming increasingly popular.

I think white cases look awesome. I've painted cases before but it's important to get the finish right. It's not that hard but it's not cheap.

Another one for white cases here.
Not particularly a mac fan and everything else I have is black but a white case looks awesome imo.

It's surprising that black has become the dominant colour for pc cases. I remember 15 years ago when I used to visit toys r us and the computers they had at that time all came in white cases except one or two which were black and I used to find the black colour actually more cooler and fascinating.
But now it seems the situation has reversed. Hmm I wonder why.
