XBOX 360 repair process

Just booted up to find that ive got the E74 problem, just registered the console and at first it looked like the warrenty expired in 2009. Now once I enter the fault its telling me the warrenty expires next month :confused:

Anyway, whats the rough turn around time with these? P&P covered both ways by MS?

yeah, they send you a UPS sticker, just box your console (make sure its nicely padded, and snug), UPS come take it away and turn-around time for my girlfriends console was around ~two weeks. in the end they replaced the console due to a 'manufacturing defect', been perfect ever since!

Just checked and on MS site its telling me that Your standard warranty expired on February 19, 2009. Then when I enter the problem its saying....

Your Xbox product is covered for this problem type until February 19, 2011
Disagree with warranty end date?
There is no charge for this repair.

So hope its free, I guess it is.

Your standard warranty is indeed twelve months but microsoft will cover repairs due to e74 (and e71 afaik) for three years. It'll be free.
