After around 3 hours at nurburgring and suzuka, the X1 challenge is finally over 2 bronze and one silver(monza). Half thempted to go back to trying to get all golds because i now find it hard to drive other cars.

DFGt user by the way, if i had been using a pad it would have been smashed about 2 hours ago.

Does anyone else find themselves leaning when cornering whilst using a pad?

My wife does that on the rare occasion I've got her to have a go at a driving game

I just found I'd only done the first tier of the rally events. Why is snow so easy then I struggle on dirt!!

Because the dirt physics are UTTERLY terrible.

On some of the stages when cars line up at the start on an incline they slide sideways down the hill. They've basically given mud the same properties as ice by lowering the friction coefficient rather than modelling it properly.

GT5 isn't a rally game anyway so it was to be expected

B-Spec help needed here, bear with me.

My main driver, that I've had from the beginning is at level 28, almost 29, yet my b-spec grade is just barely 26. How does that work? Is it my other idiots dragging down my score? Need to get my GT40

Any ideas? Not too much of an issue now as I should my total b-spec ranking to 28 tomorrow anyway, just annoying me.

Corvette Z01, race modded, then tuned up. It's still not a hugely easy race, but its comfortable enough.

You can use a Veyron, I did for the Daytona course. I spent all my money on a Toyota 7 for the historic cup, now I can't afford a Formula GT

A cheaper option might be the Mazda Furai concept car you win for B-Spec MX-5 race, doesn't cost much to tune up and can win both events fairly easily (need to block a bit on the oval but nothing too challenging)
