Can someone please have a look at there Desire HD's Power Saver settings and tell me if "Disable Background Data" is ticked or unticked.
My handset seems to have started downloading a lot more data over the last few days and trying to figure out what's doing it.

Can't play Angry Birds because of an absolutley humongous advert that appears on the screen. As i've rooted my phone i've tried AdFree but it doesn't always remove it

can you pleae explain in a easy way how to install CyanogenMod on DHD ?

I downloaded CyanogenMod recovery, ROM itself...but...
how do I install CyanogenMod recovery ? where do I copy all the files ? etc etc.

Turn wifi/3g off before you fire up the game. Bingo. One of the expansions in the "seasons" one won't work with this trick, but the main game and the other expansion work fine, with no ads

It may look like a lot of hassle but it wont take you long and I can confirm it works perfectly.

Found my self bored today so got my self round to installing cm 7 nightly build 11, market needed installing seperate but its all on fine. Will be making a back up later once I have everything installed and the way I want it then will do a restore just to confirm all is.fine. couldn't restore 2.3 backups made with cwm 2.5 with 3.

Will look into radios late too, everything seems fine only issue was adw launcher that's default in the Rom ran like crap but didn't take long to get rid.

everything went smoothly, but I can not get wifi to work...I rebooted once and still even if mobile sees network, it cannot connect, tries and switches back and again and again...any ideas what can I do to fix it ?

Give it another reboot, should work. I take it the phone connected fine before hand?

Edit

Don't reboot, power off fully then power on again, remove the battery it you feel the need

phone looks to be fine ( rang tmobile CS)

Did you do the full wipe, if so repeat and reflash the rom

You have a nandroid backup of your stock rom so at worst you just restore that, u did take the nandroid backup like the guide said?
