i've been buying same levis jeans for decades and i'm getting tired of them. they basically cost up to £60 these days but after few washes they wear out. honestly i stuck with them for so long because they used to fit me well but i'm i am gaining a bit in waist now and looking for something more flexy. i'm not much in line with latest fashion trends and i don't buy things just purely for the name. i am looking for quality though at reasonable price. any suggestions?

primark, £8-12 a pair, does me for general out and about use because I can get through them pretty quick, then save the posher jeans for going out.

They wear out after a few washes? You sure you aren't buying fakes? Most of my jeans are Levis 514 slim straights. $35 a pop :D They last a hell of a lot longer than a few washes.

Agreed. All of the Jeans I've bought, like ever, have lasted years before finally wearing out at the crotch.

I replace all of my jeans every summer. They all seem to accumulate holes or wear marks or stains (No.).

G star jeans always do me proud - expensive admittedly, but I bought a pair for £90 2 years ago, and the crotch area has only just worn away - worn quite a lot aswell, so quite impressed really.

Same goes for Henri Lloyd aswell.

I generally get mine from H&M. Decent price, and good enough quality. Their New Standards are my favourite.
Remember to wash your jeans inside out also.

Next is where I get most of mine, only because they always look the best to me.

As for wearing out, I've never had any wear out at the crotch! Normally it's the bottom of the leg that gets very tatty (back where I guess it gets caught beneath my trainer) or the thighs/knees develop holes, but only after a couple of years.

I'd bet money that my Asda George jeans last as long as your £100 jeans.

Probably yes but they wouldn't fit as well, feel as nice, look as good and the colour would fade over time.

To be honest, asking for jean advice on a computer forum will get quite a contrast in replies. Discussion is good though! :p

I didn't think anyone on a computer forum would be able to fit into jeans.
:D

The age range is quite wide on here also, you will get the older chaps (no offense) happy with the price and timespan of jeans (Next, Primark, BHS), where younger people may be happy with the brand and look (Diesel, Levis, Nudis, True religion) etc..

Oi! I'm only 24 and I like next jeans. :p

To be honest though they aren't quite the same as Primark or BHS jeans, starting with the price, which is around £40 a pair. I used to wear Levis but just didn't like them after a couple of years, they are too plain IMO (I always think of Levis as old people jeans :p)
