There's lots of youtube videos of people snowfoaming their clean cars making it out to be some kind of miracle car wash solution.

If your car looks like you just driven through a bog is it a better solution than giving it a quick sponge wash?

I'd imagine the point of snow foam is that it loosens the dirt enough so that the majority of it can be washed off by a power washer.

The reason being, when you come to clean the car with a mit or sponge there are less deposits on the paint and less change of causing swirl marks.

I was once told by a Car Valeter that snow foaming was ok occasionally but not all the time as it can discolour the plastics ?

Not bothered about that, my wife went for the poverty spec. Picasso with black instead of matching trim, a quick wipe with that gungey green autoglym stuff and they come up like new.

A toothbrush!

Well, if I owned a decent car instead of wanting to clean my wifes with the minimum of effort I'd probably go for that, but as this is an exercise in laziness there must be some kind of chemical cleaner you can spray on, leave and rinse off that'll get brake dust etc off?

Wonder Wheels, should do, you will likely have to aggitate it with the brush though.

I use Valet Pro Bilbery Wheel Cleaner though, which is excellent.
