Sub £100 to spend on anything

Combine it with my thread and make a combined £200 one?

Nah,Seriously save it no point wasting it then one day seeing something you want and being £100 pound off it.

+1 for headphones.

Bare in mind that there are lots of people mentioning a drop in manufacturing quality (poor materials etc) relating to the NS1000s.

You could look out for a pair of used but good condition Sennheiser HD 600s, which are superior headphones (if open-backed, so bare that in mind if you want to be isolated from the sounds of your environment, plus they'll be at the top end of your budget). They generally fare better with an amp though, and I'm not sure how (unamped) they'd compare with the NS1000s when they're run off batterys.

I've got some cash left over from christmas, and i'm just nearing the end of my exams so i feel like buying some crap for no good reason.. So in the interest of being trolled i'd thought id come here for some suggestions....

My first thought was some nice headphones- e.g the NS1000 , i already have some nice teufel speakers, but i find when you're working headphones are a nice change, and also better quality than speakers.

I managed to pick up some Beyer Dynamic DT770 Premiums for £99, much better than the NS1000s.

Headphones are not better quality than speakers. What setup do you currently have?

Well they are, £ for £ anyway. My Speaker set up is similar sounding to the DT770s, maybe a tiny bit better and it costs about £700.

Come back when you have £10k, then we'll talk. How to spend £100 is a bit of a joke really.

Put it against your student fees or as a rainy day fund.
