Erm, didn't he "predict" that the world wa going to end about 10-12 years ago?

There was a lot of news about it, and even a specific date. I remember because I was about 10 and the night before there was a massive thunderstrom...

So I take any predictions with a huge pinch of salt...

Those people clearly have very low expectations of the anti-Christ though. I'd be expecting a damn sight more in terms of achievements than what Mr Blair has managed so far if he's actually essentially a demon on Earth.

Nostradamus gave some interesting predictions but his success rate seems to be very low without extremely lenient interpretations being applied.

1) There were at least fourteen "Nostradamus" prophets - it was just a generic name in France a for a while.

2) The prophesies were in gibberish French, making English translations even more nonsensical.

3) Most of the well-known ones were made up this century as part of an experiment.

4) As already stated by a couple of people: like all good prophets, his nonsense can mean whatever you want it to.

The lists of what the various "Nostradamus"s said have been recompiled many times, and then tacked on to the best known of them. Just as Albert Einstein never said most of the things attributed to him either.

Just watched an interesting Hisory Channel documentary called The Next Nostradamus which features a bloke called Bruce Bueno de Mesquita - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bruce_Bueno_de_Mesquita
He uses mathematics to predict the future and apparently he's been very accurate.

Terrance Mckenna Zero time wave is mathematic based predictions as well along with the King Wen sequence of the I Ching.
