What makes the most difference @ 1080P

Core clock speed or amount of VRAM?

Is 1GB VRAM enough for this res on display?

most games at 1080 with 4x aa use between 800-900mb of memory , console ports tend to only use around 700mb.
460 1gb is about the minimum for acceptable 1080 performance (assuming your used to aa , af , game settings turned up etc)

Wait for the NDA's to come off. The 6950 should perform better than a GTX 560 regardless, but I doubt there's a huge difference between them. The 2GB card pulls into its own at resolutions above 1080p.
