Racing game for my kid

I am looking for a racing game for my boy who is 4 years old. I currently have Motorstorm and Pacific Rift and I am bored to tears with these games. My boy is not able to steer very well so I need to sit their steering while he goes fast:)

The good thing about Motorstorm games is that they are very forgiving whilst racing lots of crashes with quick restarts and able to get back into the action quick. My boy loves choosing the cars, the models and of course the colour.

Definately go with Modnation Racers, plenty forgiving with loads of user created content including characters and vehicles your son will recognise.
 
Thanks for the advice, so far I looked into Blur, Modnation Racers and have tried out the demo for Burnout Paradise I was also looked at Split Second.
 
GTi CLUB +, from the PSN is worth a look. My 2.5 year old son enjoys a go on that, and the controls are fully customisable.
 
Burnout Paradise, great thing about that is you can just let him freeride all over town without losing a race.

Or let him do Road Rage where it actually helps that he can't steer too well as you are menat to hit as many opponents as possible.
 
I am going to buy Modnation found it online for about 18.99 for a quid more I can buy it tomorrow on the way home.
