Hey guys, anybody like Guitar Hero fairly seriously?

Do the phrases "FC" or "ScoreHero" mean anything to anyone here?

Edit: Meant to post this in console gaming, sorry.

My best score is 615k on TTFAF on expert.

I was ranked 420th on Playstation 3.

Then I got an Xbox.

I give up on guitar now though because I got bored of it. I play drums now instead which im pretty good at.

i could get 3/4 through dragonforce on expert but ive done everything else on expert, i preffer to play the drums now which i can do on hard and some on expert.

Hard for fun and Expert for a challenge. I'm not that good at the games, I've only got World Tour and GH5, like anything else if you just practice and play the songs over and over you can do any of them on expert.

Just a bit. I have ~100 FC's across the games, including Rock Band, and can play expert level on all instruments. Yet to purchase a song (bar one) that I can't pass within 3 attempts on expert.

I'm now at the stage where i'm working on getting songs into Rock Band via the Rock Band Network. GH/RB nerd to say the least.

Get Rock Band 3 then! Even on easy it introduces the other buttons. Only something like 1 - 5 per track so it's not silly but gets you into the groove :)

I noticed this as well. Wish they had this on the first games then I might be able to do Hard songs without so much struggle.

I read somewhere that Guitar Hero is much harder than Rock Band. Like Medium on Guitar Hero would be Hard on Rock Band etc?
Actually they're about the same. The ony reason GH was considered harder is because they'd either over-chart things (chords instead of single notes) or have a run on notes too quick for medium players to keep up with. Nowadays, they're about the same, except Rock Band has the 4th and 5th button on all difficulties now.

I have never played Guitar Hero.

Well, unless you count the hand crippling DS version which I played for a matter of days before I traded it back in.
