This seems to have fallen by the wayside but it would be nice to get it started again.

There is a group which can be found here, where links to the past threads are indexed.

I've taken the liberty of proposing Fahrenheit 451 by Kurt Vonnegut. He's been done before but it's a nice and short book with plenty to talk about. Should be perfect to kick this off again.

Enjoy and discuss!

It never died. If you wanted a new book so badly you should've just given me a nudge. The last few threads have lost interest with little debate, so I figured I'd wait a little while before starting another one and give people a chance to get back on the wagon.

Sorry Nix didn't realise it was still going, didn't mean to tread on any toes. Not really bothered about what book is chosen just liked the idea of getting something going.

I'm game. Had a free book from a seller on Amazon marketplace so just ordered it now. Been meaning to read it for a while also.

If its not on the 'Book Lottery' list as yet Nix, could you possibly add The Diceman by Luke Rhinehart?

Appreciated :D

Time to pick our next title I think. I know I haven't been getting involved with the titles myself lately, I'm just a little busy getting through a mountain of my own literature. I will contribute in time. Gives me something to look forward to!

Can someone please pick a number between 1-36, excluding 8, 10, and 32.

I don't know how you guys are picking books, but if you haven't got any Jonathan Franzen in the mix, I really can't recommend him enough. Same goes for Tom Wolfe :)
