Hi,

Me and the O/H got given a £100 Gordon Ramsay restaurant voucher for Christmas.

Which one of his restaurants is most worth visiting? Is the 'Hospital Road' one still considered the best? We've been to 'Maze' before.

Looking to go for dinner I expect.

Thanks

Personally, I would go to Pétrus just because I'm incredibly curious. :p

Royal Hospital Road would definitely be a safe bet, as would Claridge's. But he has so many restaurants, take a look at the menus of each, and see which excites you the most. Each offers a different dining experience as well, so I would check out some reviews if you don't have your heart set on one. :)

I thought he'd lost his stars at Claridges?

If it were my choice, it would be royal hospital rd.

Give me a proper steak house anyday.

I guess a voucher is not so bad, but the portions you usually get is stupid if you ask me for the prices that hes probably dishing out, no way would I be paying for quality rather than feeling satisfied and full.

But you do feel full.

I don't want to turn this into a debate... I'll just assume you've not been there. The meals are very filling.

A guy on here posted some pictures recently of a meal he had at Claridges, the food looked poorly presented and the table cloths were not even ironed.

You should go. I've eaten a few times at his restaurants (Boxwood was fantastic). I'd say I rarely get more than 12-16oz of food, but feel as full as if I'd had double that.

Personally, I would buy a microwave dinner. He has had his fair share of using preheated ingredients in the past.

Only kidding, I personally don't know. But either way, I hope you have a good meal :)
