well according to HWBOT here is your answer, based on approx 2500 unique entries

and on that note, i'll just let you know that MSI & OcUK will be launching an exclusive overclocking competition on this forum on Monday so watch this space!

Thanks for sharing. I think it is all down to which CPU you get. All the boards will clock about the same with SB in my view.

Do you work for MSI ScottiB?

If so, I've just got my GD65 based build set up and am looking forward to the support it receives. Is there any way you can provide an update on beta BIOS releases etc? Could also do with the latest Control Center software, as the one I downloaded from the MSI UK GD65 page told me my motherboard wasn't supported!

That link proves otherwise unless you truly think that all the people buying MSI were just lucky enough to get better CPU's than those buying Gigabyte.

I do & yes I can no problem

one of the best BIOS versions around at the moment is 1.87b...you can get it here for the moment : http://91.121.148.119/downloads/BIOS/E7681IMS.187

not sure where the latest versions of the utilities are kept tho, will have to have a dig

ScottiB i've just ordered the MSI P67A C45 from ocuk with a Intel Core I5 2500K and some G.Skill RipsawX ram. Could you perceive any problems? And is there anything I should do when the system arrives? (i.e update to latest bios etc).

Yes indeed you are spot on. That one MSI board has a 6MHz higher average over clock than the second placed board. :)

Sorry mate I did not know that you were the MSI rep. My apologies.

There is an Intel ME (management engine) firmware update for P67, this is reported to enchance CPU performance but either way is considered pretty important. This update is not confined to MSI, all vendors should be offering this to their customers shortly.

MSI are going to include the update files along with update instructions with future non-beta BIOS releases to make sure that our customers don't have to go looking for it.

The C45 update is ready and available with the latest release BIOS here : http://www.msi.com/service/download/bios-15493.html

The GD55/65 update is available here with the latest non-beta BIOS v1.7 : http://www.msi.com/service/download/bios-15498.html

It took msi 3 weeks to find a problem with a handful of peoples boards and an hour to fix it. And a support website that takes a week to answer your question and then asks for information you already provided in your original ticket. Happy I did RMA it now the support is awful.

I have to admit that I dont know what "problem" you are talking about, I'm on the front line here, I deal with a number of companies using every one of our P67 boards for system builds and bundles, any niggles and glitches reported to me by them have been minor and have been dealt with quickly. I havent seen any reports of issues on this forum so please, state some facts, unless of course you are confusing MSI with the buggy Asus board that you have in your sig? :p

This one?

Perhaps it's worth starting an all encompassing MSI P67 thread to keep everyone up to date with new releases?

yes, they are separate entities, whilst one should work fine without the other it's recommended to have the intel update installed for any bios version 1.7 or above for maximum stability

Nice so being sarcastic will give you some ground back...
Why should I give you a source that comes from msi's forum... Do you not read your own forums? http://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=144484.0
3 weeks for them to find the problem. support site asked me for my boards serial a week after I submitted my help ticket even though I had already provided it.

But thats it dig at the asus board instead. When it was a problem pointed out on 4th of Jan that you could not save on MSI bios.
