Thank goodness it's not just me who is Anal about getting every Pin and Insiginia.

Got all pins last week and have 9 Insiginias left. Stuff like 2 Plats, 100 C4 and 100 Mines still to go.

Played some ggs last night, add me "Morticus". Was on with Neil79 and Tibbsey for a while, think i had a couple of shoot-offs with Tibbs but didnt see neil doing his GTA driving school ;) I had some great c4 moments on the lighthouse map :D
 
Played for a few hours last night... I was completely horrendous! 2 kills - 12 deaths at one my point!

But I was using a headset with a few mates and I'm blaming that for distracting me!

Hopefully it was just a one off.
 
Got this in the Christmas sale and was not able to play as my laptop did not like it even on Minimum settings.

However booted it up on my PC now I have finaly set it up after moving and I can play with Medium - High settings, which suprises me considering my PC is almost 5 years old and without any upgrades!

However the problem then comes, if I enter a menu in single player, or when I click to enter game on Multiplayer my screen goes white and I have to alt tab and close Battlefield.... Anyone know how to fix this at all?

It does run surprisingly well in DX9 mode with older systems doesnt it!

Re ur problem, try an uninstall of gfx drivers and reinstall the latest ones. Can u hear game sounds when the screen goes white?
 
Also playing last night i'm sure one of my chopper kills registered as a tracer dart kill :eek: but was too slow for the screenshot. It hit the chopper then the chopper crashed, but maybe it just said tracer assist...
 
Last night was so so much better for me and the only thing that changed was i joined a uk server with a great ping, anything above 150 seems to cause havoc for me. Hitbox problems again and again!. What was even more amusing was that i saw the cam after my kill, the guy was shot through the neck as a spurt of blood shot forth and he kept on running about.

Ever see band of brothers?, sorry but being shot in the neck does not mean you run about!. I guess i take this game too seriously to real life just like i did with battlefield 2.

Also lately i'd press a key on the keyboard and there would be a huge delay and sometimes nothing would happen, so i purchased a new keyboard :D
 
Just killed a tank with an AK47 in Vietnam :confused:

I was hiding behind a rock waiting for the tank to pass when it exploded and I got to 2 AK kills :D

It really does, quite a nice surprise as I was actually considering upgrading for this, but am ok for a bit longer now!

As for the white screen I can indeed hear game noises, though I cant do anything, I.E knife or shoot etc which is a bit of a pain. Grabbing the latest drivers now, sadly taking a while, looks like our net has been throttled due to downloading the 8.5GB of Bad Company 2 files from Steam last night :eek:

Cheers, seems to have helped, bar when I tabbed out and it crashed. Even managed to punch the settings up to high :D Now I just need to wait untill my net speed picks up... and find a squad to play in!

Though I have not used the PC for gaming for months so I am gonna suck for a while :eek:

Nor do i, couldn't understand why our stations were under attack with nobody near the base. He'd also attack the other com stations if one was being attacked by the enemy as to confuse his own team.

It was annoying everyone even the enemy, i think his score was about -4000
