Dead Space 2 who's buying?

Looking at getting this but I think I should finally take the first game off the shelf and get it played. Far to many games over the last year I have a massive backlog of games I need to get played before splashing out on release day titles again xD

Are you saying this from first hand experience? or having read it? - because I've also read that a few people are having the v-sync issue again but at the same time many are reporting completely fixed mouse input.

It's been widely reported and confirmed on the Rock Paper Shotgun site.

Well I was on the fence I preorderd for PC then ended up cancelling it the DLC never coming to PC was the final nail tbh, going to get the PS3 version so I can play Extraction and access the DLC if I desire in the future, why we can't have a version of Extraction for use with a mouse and the DLC on PC is beyond me. :(

Consoles make more money.

Ah found it.

Apparently it is the exact same v-sync problem, and in order to fix it you need to not only turn it off but use RivaTurner, and D3DOverdrive to force triple-buffered vsync for the game.

How ridiculous considering they knew this bug was in the first game, said they would fix it, have had 2 years to do so, and they still end up releasing it with the exact same problem.

Yeah I remember I had to disable vsync in Dead Space and enable D3DOverdrive's triple buffering in order to get pass the games capped 30fps and lock the game to 60fps.

It is a shame that they still haven't sorted out the problem for the sequel.

Does this bug apply to those using a controller?
