This is a long shot, and I mean a LONG shot...
There was a film on TV, I think Channel 4, about a fortnight ago which was French. It was set in a remote town or village and two Police Officers team up to work on the cases of brutal murders.
In the mortuary lay the body of a man with his wrists and ankles bound, lacerations to his shoulders, hands removed, eyeballs removed and replaced with rain water to give the effect of him crying. Odd, I know.
I also remember something along the lines of a mutation or disease...
I fell asleep watching it, and can't remember for the life of me what it was called.
