4gigs of DDR2-1066 to upgrade to, what to upgrade next? cant just yet but just need to know whats best
i do basic work (e.g. word, powerpoint, access)
gaming (MW2, BF BC2 ect)
ust itunes a lot
internet browsing

any recomendations?

It's a close one between your CPU and graphics card as they're both fairly old... I'd suggest trying to save up around £150 so you can replace both at the same time otherwise one will most likely bottleneck the other if you replace one at a time.

that was my first thought, maybe CPU first
and also yes, i am looking for a Q6600, whenever i have the time and money i will get one. was just checking my options. because both GPU, and CPU are slightly out of date
 
keep looking for one, pay £70-75 top end inc the postage.

and replace the X1950pro with a GTX460 for around £120
