Gordon Ramsay Restaurant

Personally, I would buy a microwave dinner. He has had his fair share of using preheated ingredients in the past.

Only kidding, I personally don't know. But either way, I hope you have a good meal :)
He uses prep kitchens for his pub chain, nothing like what was portrayed.

Good luck with that at RHR, it'll get you a starter.

No it won't? The three course A la carte menu is currently £90 per person.

Lopez is right, that will cover half of the cost, wine is pretty expensive but you do not have to order any.

Will do :) Been to Maze before. Not sure if it had its star at the time, as it was a few years ago now. Was very good though.

Yes am fully aware of the costs. £100 will just take the edge off the cost of the meal a bit. Still expecting to have to chip in £50 to £150 for the both of us :)

Looks like RHR is winning hands- down so far and Claridges is best avoided. I want the dinner taster menu, but the other half won't eat Lamb or Pigeon, so looks like we will have to go a la carte if we go there. (As one person eating seven courses the other eating three would be a bit wierd..) Is there much of a difference in terms of quality of the dishes?

Thanks

Don't be afraid to ask the sommelier for their advice based on a price range acceptable to you.

A good tip is to point to a wine on the wine menu which sets your budget. You can then ask for his recommendation based on this budget.

I use this tip when entertaining clients who like to take advantage :)
