Thinking cap time guys, how can I transport a breakfast and keep it hot?

Hi guys,

Meeting my significant other at half 10. She's asked if I can bring her something hot for breakfast, now, with the obvious suggestion of a sausage sarny (hurr hurr). If was gonna take her something like a bacon roll, bearing in mind she is a 20min drive from me...whats going to be the best way to keep it as hot as possible in that time?

I would pick something up nearby for her...but to my knowledge there isn't anywhere!

So, suggestions on keeping the food warm please!

Tell your GF she's being unreasonable, you'll keep it hot if you can but don't expect miracles. :D

Otherwise, use a baking dish or some sort of metal tray, heat it using the over and make sure it has a cover.

Lol she knows that anyway! I'm not some sort of poxy magician :D

Liking the sound of this. Could put a cloth down on the footwell to stop it melting to the floor, heated baking tray on top of that, foot on that with another cover over the top. Also heaters on high whilst blasting down on the feet. Win?

I think that has the highest chance of win, I would choose a porcelain dish over a metal one if you can as it will hold the heat longer.
 
Oh and by the way, if this makes her ill due to being inappropriately heated, it's entirely her fault for making such a ridiculous request :D
