I live in a flat, I have one window (admitidly its a 14 foot bay window) and its on the other side of the flat from the door.

I have a foscam knockoff, chinese imitation and it's ok. Can either record to the pc if motion activated, email if activated or the option i use is it uploads a photo every second via ftp to the cloud.

It's interesting to see that you think they're OK. I'm a cheapskate buyer and usually realise to my cost that you get what you pay for!

I'd like to know exactly what you mean by upload to the cloud, I suppose you mean ftp to remote storage.

Yeah, uploads via ftp to my drivehq.com account. It also offers the option of DDns so you can log in remotely and control it (camera has servo move functions)

I was looking for something to have 1 night cam, and an iphone app that could connect to it so i can see who was at the door without gettin up! I'm still looking though ha
