North Korea

Im actually looking at going to NK, there are 3 or 4 companies in the UK that will help you out to book it and its surprisingly cheap too.

Trouble is none of my friends or girlfriend want to come with me!

Why would you want to go to a country which is completely state controlled, where you're chaperoned everywhere and where you have no freedom at all? Other than to say you went, of course. No wonder no-one wants to go! Spend your money on going to a country you can actually enjoy yourself in.

Well there is some freedom there. I've read a lot of peoples travel logs from it and sometimes you can get friendly with the guards and they will take you to a local bar and things.

I admit its not every ones cup of tea but it is one of the most unique countries on earth.

It is interesting and different. I would guess those interested in visiting NK are also into urban exploration.

state controlled bars?

Just read 1984, and you'll have a pretty good idea what it's like to live in North Korea. The utter pointlessness of a North Korean's existence is just ridiculously upsetting to think about.
