Didn't realise Mogwai were in town!

Me. :D
Going to see them in Brum in Feb with the o/h. Nice to go to a gig where both of us actually like the band. Loud loud quiet loud loud etc...

Bah, they are playing various venues in Glasgow and all sold out apart from the Grand Ole' Opry but not keen on the venue.

I've seen them a few times but to be honest their last two albums have been a little boring. They don't seem to have put nearly as much effort in as they did in years gone by, so not sure I'm gonna pay £24 inc booking fee per ticket to see them this time around.

Generic bump, anyone else going to see them tonight in Aberdeen?

Mogwai at music hall, then Mogwai DJ set at Snafu afterwards before Silicone Soul. This is going to be a good day.

Saw them in Perth last night at the theatre and they were amazing. Brilliantly loud, great sound and small venue. Also caught them doing a DJ set in Glasgow last Wednesday but to be honest I don't really get the appeal of bands doing DJ sets, would rather see a proper DJ.

Is the Belfast gig sold out? Can't see it listed on ticketmaster. Nuts.

EDIT: Oh no, its right there at the top. :o

heh.

We're just gonna go to Leeds now, sunday 20th Feb, might book the Monday off, dunno...

I can't wait:D

Lets spice the thread up a bit. EPIC+++++++ talk about spine tingling:)

Agree with this viewpoint. The Mogwai DJ part of tonight was weak at best.
Excellent gig though, My Father My King was played as the encore... Biblical track to play them out.
