Possibly the only one on these forums, but I'm guessing a small % of the people who bought the K chips will run them at stock speeds.
Why would anyone want pay about £36 extra for an unlocked K series CPU to only run it at stock speeds ??Am i The Only one to Buy a i7 2600k and run it at Stock?![]()
I'm keeping my 2500k at stock right now, it runs everything i need it to at a blistering pace and also want to wait till the asus mobo problems are ironed out before i change too much.
If in a year or so I need the extra oomph an oc would give me then I'll do it then and be glad I got the K version![]()
