What do you collect?

He did say they are pretty rare, so in 5/10 years nostalgia kicks in that's when the money is earned.

I have an unopened Xbox that I bought for £50 in 2004, its in the loft, go and try and find an xbox for sale, untouched, still sealed.

Wut for a console that is obsolete.

Granted is not sold but whats wrong with having something worth that for a little storage convenience

OP I'm sure you can sell off most of these at £1 or more to collectors (providing you don't want them anymore)
I'd like to try and sell them off, but it just seems like so much effort.. for something that costs £1.
I've signed up for ebay/paypal accounts a few years ago but never actually used them because I find it all so confusing :o

You need to get Musa (Warrior) - a fantastic film, also Taegukgi (sp?) another great film.
Wanted to get those in addition to what I already had in my basket when I was in a Hong Kong HMV last year but decided to hold off as had already spent too much. :o Will definitely buy them when I return this year. :)

You can eBay them. That's where I get my region 3 stuff from.

Never used ebay and am a bit reluctant to use it. Guess I have trust issues as I have an impression it's a minefield for getting scammed. :o Tend to buy my DVDs when I'm abroad or from yesasia.

Cheers lend me some I've only 2 :D

... I won't get them dusty ;)

What do I get in return. :p

In all seriousness though I have quite a lot of PS1/PS2 games which probably aren't worth that much monetarily but sentimentally they are. A lot of them are in very good condition boxed and with manuals and even though it may sound kinda sad as most kids my age were probably out playing football or something I just preferred to be indoors with my videogames, so it represents my childhood and a lot of happy memories.

As a kid I collected Star Wars toys and Action Men. I say collect, I did play with them all though. :)

As an adolescent I bought an obscene amount of DVDs, CDs and games, and that carried on into my 20s. There are still loads I haven't watched or played.

Nowadays I don't collect anything.

Strife I really like that Saber, not sure if I'd like it enough to pay that sort of money for it :)

About the only things I collect at the moment are DVD's (my collection hit 1000 a couple of months back*, GW models that seem to take forever to paint:p, and books.

My dad seems to collect tools...

*Not quite as bad as it sounds, I've been buying them for ten years, and often getting them very cheap:)

Yup, that what I used to do and I also used CDwow, but not used them in a long time. I got a few from HK when I went a few year ago but prices were not always as competitive. Oh, and there was a shop just off Leicester Square walking towards the Forbidden planet store who sold DVDs from different regions.
