Thinking of getting an ipod touch 32gb but I really don't know if it is worth it, cheapest I can find is £230, is it really as good as people say it is?

Depends what you want it for? If it's for music only, I'd go for the 16gb Nano.

Just did a search for the nano to see the cost and realised there is a new one out, sweet!

I love my iPod Touch. Though I don't have a touch phone so it was also for the apps. My computer is set to turn on every morning and play music so now I can lie in bed and choose what song I want. :)

I would say they're a bit heavy for running on a treadmill.

Apple released an app simply called "Remote" and it lets you control iTunes on any windows/apple computer that has iTunes open.

I have the latest iPod Touch as iPhone plans in Canada are a rip off so have stuck with my trusty 3G. The iPod runs all my apps as the 3G is slower than erosion.

The screen is awesome and it's very very nippy despite not having the 512mb ram as in the iPhone 4. This one is definately light enough to take running. My problem with the new Nano is that the touch screen is so small it's a bit awkward to use, I can imagine having to stop running and focus on it more than the touch.

This is exactly what I was thinking as well, I mean the clip is useful but a tiny touchscreen is surely not friendly to use whilst running.

Have you seen the price of the 5th gen nanos? I nearly had a heart attack, £299? LOL oook Apple.

I paid £125 brand new for 16gb about a year ago.

The new nano can be warn as a watch also, it's awesome.
Also OP, that's the exact question I was asking before I bought one.

Is it worth it? Hell YEA! I bought the 8GB version however, and now wish I didn't, I can do so much with it and put so much on it, i've ran out of room :|
32GB is an excellent choice, go 4th Gen ofcourse, and you'll never look back.
You'll probably want to buy a nice cover for it too, the metal backs on them get scratched so easily.
